jeep

cool name. cool shelves. designed in 1971 and made of abs plastic (a favorite material of the era), the stacking jeep system is one of the few plastic options out there to show such a great sense of style. but, then again, just about everything on bbb emmebonacina's website does.

I just discovered your blog, and I LOVE it.

I'm a fan of wall-mounted shelving systems, and I've always wondered WHICH modular system came first. Since you're an aficionado, perhaps you know(?).

Woah, I've never thought about that. It's a tricky question. The movable, stackable wooden chests that served as book storage in early Middle Ages monasteries would probably count technically as the first flexible, multipliable system. But I'm guessing you mean Modern shelving. I'm not sure, but if I come across something that seems like a good bet, I'll certainly post it.
